Today we took a train from Orvieto to Florence. I of course slept most the way. We did meet a family from Texas at then end. They had a toddler who was not a fan of shoes and took them off in protest… kind of like Gabi.
When we arrive in Florence it was raining.
We met up with two guys joining the field school and did some site seeing.
We walked to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in the piazza del Duomo
On the way to the Duomo, we passed a duck shop and I might’ve boughten a shark duck.
After that we walked to the Piazzale Michelangelo, and thankful the rain let up right before we arrived at the Pointe Vecchio.
On the way down I made some friends and so did little sharky.
After that we were just wondering. We went to find a wine window but it was closed. However gabi made friends.
After saying goodbye to our new friends, we sat down for happy hour and then went to meet up with the group to go to Montespertoli.
