Today we had to get up a bit early because we’re going into Florence again.
I made French toast because my bread was so stale I’d probably break a tooth.
After we took the bus to Florence and I slept all the way, obviously.
When we got to Florence we followed Elisa (our Castello Sonnio rep) and we stopped at a coffee shop before going to a perfumery.
After the perfumery, we went to a market where I bought the most amazing white truffle oil.
After we all went to lunch to try the Florentine steak. I ordered spinach and ricotta ravioli in a truffle sauce, and it was delicious! It was sooooooo good.
Another table order and entire Florentine steak so I tried just a baby piece. I also tried a piece of lamb and it just tasted like steak?
After the main meal, Austin also ordered tiramisu and we all tried a bite. It was pretty good.
After lunch we had a guided tour but Gabi, Nathen, Jackson and I didn’t stay long because it was so hot.
We went to cool off in one of the few bars left from the 80’s. It was an Irish pub believe it or not.
Then we went to walk back to the bus station but got distracted by a burger place and went to get a snack. Gabi and I had a veggie burger, and it wasn’t the best but it was alright. And it was food.
After we took the bus back to Montespertoli, And everyone had a party in the back of the bus while I slept again. Obviously.
Once back at Castello Gabi and I cooled off in the kitchen with Siobhan (who is the cutest human I’ve ever met). We had a little snack, rehydrated, quick run to the Coop, and then had a dance party.
Then Nathan, Jackson, Indy and Austin came and after another brief dance party we left to go get pizza.
However we passed the to go bar, and everyone stopped to get a little drinky.
We finally made it to dinner at the pizzeria.
Then we walked back and I went to sleep.
