Today we got up a bit earlier than usual to take the bus to Florence. We made sure to be earlier as there is only two busses from Montespertoli on Sundays. One at 8:45AM and the other at 5:30 PM.

When we arrived at the bus stop the bus was coming in 15 minutes early and then it passed us and we thought we were in the wrong area, so we started running after it. Thankfully it was just turning around and we managed to get on it with plenty of time.

As well, we hadn’t seen the rest of the group, but thankfully the bus waited until its departure time before leaving. Everyone else managed to get in with time to spare but I think Gabi lost another year off her life from stress.

I fell asleep and woke up in Florence.

Once in Florence we all walked the short distance to the train station and since we were super early we were able to get some breakfast.

I ordered some sort of iced coffee that came with pistachio sauce and a custard filled donut, which came as a combo with juice and a little chocolate bar, all for 10 euro.

While walking to our platform we saw a Photo Booth and decided to squeeze ourselves into it.

We all boarded the train and I slept all the way to Pisa.

After looking at the leaning tower of Pisa we all went for lunch.

after 2.5 hours in Pisa and the train station vending machine eating my 1.80 euro, we all got back on the train to La Spezia.

We also watched a local loose his money to the vending machine and he said “don’t trust the Italian vending machines, they’re just there to take your money. I can say that I’m Italian”

I of course slept all the way to La Spezia.

Once we arrived we walked 20 minute to where we are staying, which is really cute.

We settle into the loft, but then I got hungry so Rachelle and I walked to the grocery store and bought snacks.

I than ate yogurt for dinner and then went to bed.

While I ate yogurt Rachelle was going to open her wine so I asked to do it not knowing the opener was bent. It broke…
