Today we went to tour Tenuta di Valgiano and learn’t about their Vinyard which is a biodynamic farm that uses natural and holistic processes that keeps chemicals and machinery out of the production as much as possible.





After touring the vines and the cellar we went to do a wine tasting.
On the property I also saw a quince and got to try a golden plum, it was very sweet and juicy with a bitter skin.

The area where we had the tasting there were four puppers and they were all my friends!!
Especially the little Russell Terrier.







After the tasting we were fed lunch which was cous cous.

After lunch and saying goodbye to the puppies we went to Lucca.
In Lucca there was a guided tour where we learn’t all about the history of the city and it’s walls, as well as the historic shop signs and how they cannot be replaced even if the store changes.



We also passed a restaurant with extravagant decorations and some interesting table toppers…


After spending time in Lucca we took a bus back to Castello Sonnio and of course I slept through the drive.
then I went to dinner with Gabi and two others and we all had pizza. I had pizza with mushrooms and chilli.

After dinner we all got together to book trains for La Spezia at the guy’s house.
And then bed time.
