Today I woke up a little sicky. A bug has been going around the group the whole trip and now it rudely came to me.

We started the day with a lecture by Caterina de Renzis Sonnio (The Baroness). She showed us all the different wine labels she has designed for Castelli Sonnio and other vineyards. She explained her process and some psychological factors that should be considered when designing labels or other product marketing projects.

After the lecture I had a long nap.

Then I walked to the Coop to buy ingredients because we were doing another student hosted dinner. This time it was more of a pot luck.

After walking to the Coop I went to the farm house (the guys place) to start prepping because our kitchen was full.

While I was prepping, we had a foraging walk schedule which I skipped because I was too tired and needed to nap. Except my plans were halted because the power in the farmhouse kept short circuiting.

I kept running from the breaker after turning it back on to try and turn all the lights off but I would get to the stairs and it would shut off again. Thankfully Nathan came back to help. We kept fiddling with it until one of the profs informed us that there is also a breaker box outside.

Nathan went to check it and we let the breakers cool off. A little bit later, someone from Castello Sonnio came to check on it and flipped the breaker on again, and the power worked.

Then I had a nap on the couch until everyone came back.

Once everyone came back we started cooking.

I made baked Brie with walnuts, peaches and a drizzle of honey, as well as some garlic butter.

I tried some food, then I left to go sleep off my sickness.
